Funeral Fees

Direct Cremation Package - £2050.00

This includes all of the following

Professional Services – £560.00:

  • Assistance in collation of all necessary documentation
  • Guidance on the Registration of Death
  • Co-ordination with the Coroner, should they be involved
  • To arrange other relevant documents that may be required

Vehicle and personnel – £250.00:

  • For the provision of our saloon vehicle
  • Necessary staff required in attendance on the day of the service

Removal Service – £475.00:

  • Rowland’s, on call, to respond to your immediate telephone enquiry
  • Initial Advice and Guidance on what needs to be done
  • Provision of Vehicle and Staff to attend and collect the deceased 24 hours a day
  • Transfer of your loved one to our dedicated facilities, within a 20 mile radius

Provision of a Simple Oak Veneered Coffin – £445.00:

Local Crematorium Fee – £320.00:

Please note this is a NO ATTENDANCE cremation and would be on a day and time of the funeral director’s choosing at ANY local crematorium

Please note this price does not include disbursements such as:

  • Removal of Pacemaker: £75.00
  • Rowland’s to collect the cremated remains: £75.00
  • Care, Attention & Hygienic Treatment by qualified and experienced staff with use of private chapel of rest with 24 hour access: £250.00 (£400 for Covid)
  • One Day Only visit to our chapel without hygienic treatment: £85.00

We are fully flexible with each package and will endeavour to adjust it accordingly to your wishes

Classic Funeral Package - £3150.00

This includes all of the following

Professional Services – £1650.00:

  • Available 24 hours, EVERY day
  • Provision of a detailed consultation to discuss and arrange your individual funeral requirements
  • A Home Visit can be arranged at NO additional cost
  • Advice and guidance on all available options and choices
  • Assistance in collation of all necessary documentation
  • Guidance on the Registration of Death
  • Co-ordination with the Coroner, should the Coroner be involved
  • To act as an Agent and make arrangements with the Clergy, Crematorium/Cemetery, Doctor, etc
  • Provision of your own Funeral Director to officiate and co-ordinate the Funeral Service from the point of arrangement to the day of the funeral
  • A full complement of professional Bearers
  • To arrange other relevant documents that may be required
  • Collection of cremated remains for cremation services or provision of a solid oak grave marker for burial services

Hearse – £580.00:

  • For the Hearse to arrive at a local address, to meet Mourners so allowing following cars to make a cortege
  • ALTERNATIVELY, the Hearse meets you at the place of service

Removal Service – £475.00:

  • Rowland’s 24 hours on call to respond to your immediate telephone enquiry
  • Initial Advice and Guidance on what needs to be done
  • Provision of Vehicle and Staff to attend and collect the deceased 24 Hours a day
  • A FREE detailed booklet entitled ‘Arranging a Funeral’
  • Care of the deceased prior to the funeral and dressing in own clothes or robe
  • Holding of your loved one in our dedicated facilities within a 30 mile radius

Provision of a Simple Oak Veneered Coffin – £445.00:

Please note this price does not include disbursements such as:

  • Crematorium fee: Starting at £1115.00 (depends on crematorium)
  • Church Burial fee: Starting at £390.00
  • Interment of Cremated Remains: £206.00
  • Gravedigger’s fee: Starting at £550.00
  • Cemetery Burial fee £2853.00
  • Celebrant fee: Starting from £250.00
  • Clergy Fee: Starting at £244.00
  • And any fees payable outside the funeral director’s control

Any additional fees might include:

  • Care, Attention & Hygienic Treatment by qualified and experienced staff with use of private chapel of rest with 24 hour access: £250.00 (£400 for Covid)

Rowland Room with Non-Attendance Cremation Funeral Package - £2995.00

This includes all of the following

Professional Services – £1255.00:

  • Advice and guidance on all available options and choices
  • Assistance in collation of all necessary documentation
  • Guidance on the Registration of Death
  • Co-ordination with the Coroner, should the Coroner be involved
  • To act as an Agent and make arrangements with the Clergy, Crematorium/Cemetery, Doctor, etc
  • Provision of your own Funeral Director to officiate and co-ordinate the Funeral Service from the point of arrangement to the day of the funeral
  • To arrange other relevant documents that may be required

Low Key Vehicle – £250.00:

  • For the low key vehicle and necessary staff
